Microcid is a balanced formulation of stabilizers and antioxidants, offering protection against unwanted refermentations as well as oxidations in wines, ciders and fruit juices.
Microcid offers an economical and practical substitute to sterilizing filtration or pasteurization for wines or ciders containing some residual sugar.
Microcid inhibits the refermentation of wines by inactivating a large range of yeasts (Saccharomyces cerevisiae p.v. cerevesiae and bayanus, rosei, Kloeckera apiculata, Hanseniaspora anomala, and more). Helps preserving the freshness, aromas and fruity characteristics of beverages.
